HINTS AND TIPS

ORDERING

Before ordering your printed balloons you need to decide the following:

Printed balloons that have not been inflated will be useable for up to 2 years if you are going to require them again in that period it is more cost effective to purchase a large number in the first place.

If you are filling the balloons with helium or using cups and sticks you need to order them printed NECK DOWN and then they can be read easily as they will be pointing upwards. For balloons that are going to be filled with air they need to be printed NECK UP as they will be hanging down.

If you are going to use the balloons, some with helium and some with air, we can print some neck up and some neck down.

Printing in black on 1 side you can order from 15 balloons upwards.

Printing in various colours including black you can order from 50 upwards to 10,000.

Our lead time is normally 7 working days, however, usually an express service is available at an extra charge of 20%.

We print on 10 inch, 12 inch and 36 inch latex balloons.

We can fit your balloons with valves and ribbons which takes away the hassle of tying, however, the floating time for balloons fitted with these is approximately 5 to 6 hours, whilst balloons tied by hand will remain floating for up to 16 hours approximately. Or we can supply cups and sticks which saves the cost of helium but they would need tying by hand.

We will email proof of the final artwork to you prior to starting to print for you to sign off and return to us. Printing will not start before we receive the signed off artwork, this ensures the printing will be to your satisfaction.

When choosing ink colours for printing it is important to ensure that there is enough contrast between the balloon colour and the ink colour, otherwise the result will not be successful. For instance printing white onto a silver balloon will not show up well. We can usually match U Pantone Colours for you but you need to remember that printing on balloons is different to printing on paper or board which have a solid density, whereas balloons are opaque and so there will always be a slight difference. Uncoated Pantone colours are the best representation of actual colours.
